INTRODUCTION
Free 3D Acropolis is a
three-dimensional representation of the Acropolis of Athens as was in
the period of Pericles, that is to say, around
year 413 before Christ
(considered date of conclusion of works). It has been tried to do of
the most precise and faithful form. In order to obtain it,
efforts have not been saved.
Nevertheless, in some cases some
"tricks" have been necessary
to avoid an unmanageable scene. An
example of it, we have it in
the tile roofs. The majority forms with elements
(primitive geometric) properly
texturados.
In any case, it has been
put special taken care of in avoiding the worse
consequences of this resource,
as they are the too hard edges or the too flat forms. Following with
our example, if which the roofing tiles of the edges have been modeled,
essential to give a sensation of realism and finished affluent
architecture.
