Welcome to my brand new web page.
My last web page was hosted in the University of the Basque Country, and was developed using Java/servlet technology. It run on top of a Apache Tomcat web server, which was behind an Apache HTTPD server (there were in fact three Tomcat servers running in parallel behind the HTTPD, one for PVOL, another one for PVOL testing, and the last one for my webpage). The content management system was built from scratch, and a MySQL database was used to store the content. It was great to build and prepare the whole system, but then I realized that I don't update the information of the web page too often, so I decided to switch the strategy.
This new web page is hosted in the GNU Spain server, within the public_html of my account. It's completely static (HTML, CSS...) so no database is used to store the information. One would say that it is useless to completely redesign the web if I already had one running perfectly. But believe me, after some years without touching a single HTML file, I needed it
